We have an impact on people's quality of life. 

Regenerative and precision medicines are emerging fields of medical research that can provide novel treatments for a number of diseases, including musculoskeletal and neurodegenerative disorders, as well as heart disease, among others.

These diseases affect millions of people around the world, negatively affect their quality of life and their families, represent a great economic burden on our health care systems. The current therapeutic approaches available to musculoskeletal, neurodegenerative and cardiovascular disorders have proven to be ineffective or insufficient in the long term, requiring new and innovative strategies to overcome the current challenges presented by these diseases.

Regenerative Medicine and new therapeutic strategies

Regenerative Medicine is a domain of interdisciplinary research that combines new therapeutic strategies in specific clinical contexts, with the aim of regenerating tissues or organs lost or compromised by trauma or disease.

While Precision Medicine is a novel form of treatment and prevention of diseases that takes into account the individual variability of genes, the environment and other factors, providing personalized medical decisions and medical care to each person.

These approaches and their achievements in recent years have offered a good perspective for future new and effective treatments of the aforementioned diseases. Despite the promising results, there are still several challenges to be addressed before the technologies developed can translate into widespread clinical use with full exploitation of the results.

Our project.

It aims to lay the foundations of a multipolar distributed research center in Mexico, USA and Japan in the area of regenerative and precision medicine, called Prometheus Biotech for Regenerative and Precision Medicine.

The Center operates with the strong participation of prestigious institutions with a long experience in successfully translating basic and clinical research into therapies, techniques and medical products with therapeutic value.

Vision.

To be a unique and sustainable multidisciplinary center of excellence in Regenerative, Precision and Longevity Medicine that can, in the long term, have a strong structuring effect on the scientific landscape, high international visibility, a clear scientific and economic impact and a global effect on the quality of life of a very significant number of patients suffering from cardiovascular, neurodegenerative and musculoskeletal diseases.

Mission.

Carry out world-leading research in regenerative and precision medicine, anchoring the research activities of the best groups in Mexico, USA and Japan promoting excellence, advanced training, translational research results and marketing strategies that can, in the long term, generate a significant economic impact, in addition to impacting the quality of life of an aging population affected by neurodegenerative, cardiovascular and musculoskeletal diseases.
